The function of the Leasing Department is to work as a strategic partner contributing to the development and accomplishment of the company business plan and objectives. The Leasing Department provides the company with structure and the ability to meet business needs by effectively managing and overseeing all leasing responsibilities for the company portfolio.
The Director of Leasing is a Player/Coach role and is responsible for effectively sourcing, negotiating, and leasing vacant space and lease renewals in assigned properties. This position would be assigned higher value leases, larger square footage suites, and core properties lease transactions. The Leasing Director may assist the VP of Leasing in the training / development of a Leasing Manager / Admin / Financial Analyst. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the daily work and day-to-day workings of particular projects. The Director of Leasing monitors market leasing activity and negotiates leases on an assigned property. This role will work directly with brokers and tenants to establish relationships and build a broker/tenant database.

Education Bachelor’s degree
Experience and/or Training
3- 7 years of commercial real estate leasing experience.
Shown growth in the leasing manager position, internally or externally that is above the entry level leasing manager position
Strong analytical and quantitative abilities are required.
Excellent client-service and negotiation skills.
Highly motivated individual who can work with considerable independence.
Willingness to travel up to a minimum 10 days a month.
Technology/Equipment Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; MRI experience required.
