TruBank is currently seeking a Commercial Lender for our West Des Moines, IA location.  The individual will develop new and maintain existing customer relationships by calling on businesses, professional groups and existing customers, soliciting new deposit and loan business and referrals.  Responsibilities are to maintain loan portfolio, building customer relationships, providing excellent customer service, timely follow-up on renewals and delinquencies.  Will contribute to the team effort by performing other job-related duties as necessary.

- Responsible for managing and maintaining new and existing loans.

- Develop and solicit a quality loan portfolio in conformity with all bank policies, procedures and guidelines, as well as applicable banking laws and regulations.

- Portfolio may consist of Commercial, Real Estate and Consumer loans.

- Interview loan candidates, collect and analyze financial data to determine credit worthiness.

- Establish and negotiate terms under which credit can be extended.

- Participate with and make presentations to Loan Committee.

- Support the bank's strong customer service and product knowledge.

- Represent the bank and provide leadership in key community activities.

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.

- 8 years of banking experience and/or exposure to commercial lending preferred.

- Good managerial, communication and public relations skills.
