The Associate will be responsible for assisting in the underwriting of debt and equity investments.
Responsibilities:
Underwriting and modeling investments in real estate and loan origination
Review all aspects of the underwriting/due diligence process for a variety of debt and equity investments in real estate
Work in the onboarding and servicing of investments
Interact with borrowers, sponsors, internal, and external partners
Monitor progress and performance of assets in comparison to budgets and timelines
Gather presentation materials for the summary and dissemination of information related to investments
Assist with preparing ad hoc analysis and presentations as necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or Business Administration
Minimum two years of experience related to the Commercial Real Estate industry including property trends, capital market trends, and valuation concepts
Experience in banking, lending, and real estate investing
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
