The Finance & Accounting Analyst (Property Tax) is responsible for filing personal property tax returns with various local governments, appealing values, completing assessments in the property tax system (PTMS), and processing tax bills timely. The position may also provide support in the form of sorting, scanning, and uploading incoming property tax mail.  Effective communication with all property tax team members concerning work status and deadlines.  Independent research and reconciliation of property tax issues as well as interaction with taxing jurisdictions to verify information.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

• 6+ months of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics, financial reporting, accounting reporting or risk reporting demonstrated through work or military experience

• A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
• Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines
• Ability to work independently
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
• Solid problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

• Familiarity with Property Tax Made Simple software (PTMS)
• General experience with Tax Research software (CCH, IRA)

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
