ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Sr. Manager in the Strategy and Business Operations Group who can work independently and drive cross-functional teams to refine and managed business process for developing and executing unit launch plans and managing associated projects and supporting initiatives. This includes but is not limited to: performing analysis to support business decisions, documenting and managing cross-functional process, building and managing project plans, managing risks/issues and business change, running professional meetings; helping launch our solutions to the market.
With accountability for ensuring launching solutions to marketplace successfully, this role requires someone with a combination of project/program management, problem-solving, analytical skills, and an ability to coordinate various cross-functional teams.
WHAT SKILLS WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?
Work with operational stakeholders to drive detail plans as appropriate
Implement best practices to facilitate high quality solution ideas
Manage launch process including inputs, timelines and key deliverables from cross-functional partners
Maintain a calendar of future launches, communicating and educating launch process out to the operational stakeholders
Function as team member in a variety of strategy and business development projects, including emerging business opportunities, acquisitions, joint ventures, etc.
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR YOU TO APPLY?
Previous management consulting, business development, strategic marketing, product development or finance experience
Strong analytical capabilities and previous experience developing data-driven analyses
Experience working in a program/project management office (PMO) or on large programs is desired. Experience setting up program offices and programs is a strong plus.
Advanced execution skills to drive project via plans, ownership/date assignment, risks/issue lists, and follow through.
Strong cross-functional project management skills, ability to influence without authority
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision, productively in a face paced, challenging environment.
Ability to manage a large team spanning multiple cultures, time zones, organizations and companies.
Ability to coordinate and cooperate with multiple internal and external groups to accomplish team goals
Comfort with and eagerness to tackle ambiguous problems
Ability to identify key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data
Highly collaborative and able to influence
Strong writing and verbal presentation skills, enabling her/him to prepare and present information and recommendations to a broad and diverse audience
Knowledge of Smartsheet or proven propensity to pick-up/develop new tools a strong plus
Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to produce clear reports and presentations.
Experience building business cases, ROI calculations, manage submissions, and budget tracking
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus
